There are several types of fixed air-conditioning systems to choose from depending on the type of environment.

Ducted Air-conditioning Systems

Ducted Air Conditioning is the quietest and most versatile of all systems, it is often the most practical choice for large areas where air distribution becomes beyond the reach of normal split air-conditioning units. The Cool or warm air is then ducted into the room through internal grills, the location of which, is flexible and can be positioned to suit each room.
Air-conditioning outlet grilles allow uniform temperature distribution in large or heavily partitioned areas.
The unit is totally concealed within a ceiling void. The compact ducted systems' flexible design allows the indoor units to be either fitted horizontally or vertically depending on the installation requirements. These units can also be connected to an outside air supply.

Wall Mounted Air-conditioning Units

Wall mounted units with inverter technology reduces running costs while still delivering the desired cooling-heating capacity. All units come with remote controls - swing louvers function to distribute the cool air around the room and plasma filtration which help rooms with smoky atmosphere or youngsters with asthma/hay fever to breathe cleaner filtered air.
These are popular units, simple to locate and esthetically pleasing; they are very effective cooling all types of environments including retail outlets, banks, doctors and dentist surgeries, restaurants, offices, conservatories and all other residential environments. The indoor units can be mounted at the desired
level from floor to ceiling. Available in seven power outputs ranging from 2.5kw up to 10kw. These systems come with a simple to operate remote control and have the capability for providing cooling and cost effective heat.
Stylish and slim, elegant wall-mounted units compliment any interior décor and are suitable for a variety of applications. Highly efficient inverter technology

Ceiling Mounted Cassette

These ultra quiet units are perfect for setting into a suspended ceiling. The space saving design of the cassette is perfect for offices, shops and all commercial premises.
Designed to be installed into most types of suspended ceiling, the standard cassette is ideal for businesses and commercial premises. Sizes 12kw, 14kw & 18kw available as 600 x 600 compact type. Size 24kw & above have "slender-fit" feature for installing in shallow ceiling voids.
Controls are adjusted either by remote keypad or wall-mounted control panel.

Service and Maintenance

Service and maintenance is an important part of your air conditioning system. The best way of looking at it is to compare your air conditioning system to your car, which needs regular servicing - in the case of your air conditioning unit(s) every six months - to make sure everything is in good working order and to uphold your Manufacturer's 2 year Guarantee which is conditional on your unit(s) being serviced regularly every six months. After installation, we offer a service agreement which will run alongside your guarantee. We are very competitive and if our engineers installed the system it would make sense to look after it.
As a family business we recognise that looking after our customers is the most important aspect of our business which leads to referrals with friends telling their friends...etc, so we do offer special deals for example first service free with a referral. Please contact us to discuss.
Our fully comprehensive maintenance plan consists of:
• Twice yearly scheduled maintenance visits
• Maintenance plans include a comprehensive 21 point check system
• Our prompt call out service responds to malfunctions speedily to ensure your equipment is back in service and operating efficiently
• All work is fully guaranteed.

Many emergency breakdowns would have proved unnecessary had the unit been maintained at what really is very little cost.... and certainly less cost than your computer system failing from heat overload!
We provide preventative and scheduled maintenance services to ensure systems operate at maximum efficiency at peak times. A properly maintained system reduces risk of breakdowns or replacement costs.
Brands We Recommended
Not all heat pumps are created equal. Many of the brands currently coming on to the market can't cope with our cold Spanish days. Sadly it is not uncommon for us to hear from individuals who have bought a cheap heat pump and now bitterly regret it because it doesn't work when the weather turns towards less than 5 degrees.

Our advice is: when you decide to invest in a heat pump, ensure its one that will repay you with years of reliable performance and comfort all year round. In our opinion, Fujitsu, Ariston, Mitsubishi and Panasonic are very good brands for Spanish homes. Each of these brands has been proven locally and internationally, and as highly regarded manufacturers, these companies stand by their products. With these four top brands to choose from, we can find an effective solution to almost every heating or cooling need.

Buyer beware
The air conditioning world is awash with many different but similar sounding makes of equipment.
Many of these are available from importers who offer little or no backup in terms of technical information and spare parts. In some cases the importers do not remain in business very long, and this can leave clients with equipment which cannot be repaired in case of failure.

Very often the initial cost savings compared with good quality equipment is less than a couple of hundred pounds, but the client can be left with equipment for which they paid thousands which effectively becomes useless.
