rule of thumb:
Area (Length x Width) x 65 = BTU/hr
E.g. Room size 10ft x 10ft = 100ft x 65 = 6,500BTU/hr
(BTU/hr = British Thermal Unit, 1 BTU/hr = 0.29307107 watts)

What is involved in fitting the air conditioning
units?
A wall mounted split system air conditioning
unit comprises of two elements - an evaporator fitted internally and a
condenser placed outside. The internal unit of the air conditioner is
fitted to a metal mounting plate on a wall in the room to be cooled or
heated. The air conditioning external unit is situated outside the building,
and can be wall mounted on brackets, or placed at ground level or on a
flat roof. The two units of the air conditioner are connected using copper
pipe. The external unit, or condenser, pumps heat from the room and dissipates
it outdoors, along with any condensation that has built-up in the system,
whilst the internal unit provides cooling or heating, depending on the
time of year.
The entire range of wall mounted air conditioning units that All Seasons
offer are heat pumps, which means that they both heat and cool. Combining
Toshiba compressors with the latest eco friendly refrigerant R410a, all
our air con units have an energy efficiency rating of A. Heat pumps are
recognized as the most efficient form of heating in the market place today.
