Events Calendar for Autumn & Winter 2008 / 2009

The CRESCENDO International Choir
The choir sings four-part harmony and is made up of about seventy members.
There are many married couples in the choir and several "other halves" who do not sing but help out behind the scenes. Throughout the year there is a social event each month … dinner at a restaurant / lunchtime menu del dia / coach trips and picnics.

January 7th, 2009. From January, the choir will be rehearsing at a new venue, the OASIS BAR in Torreta 3, on Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 8pm. For information about the choir please contact Phyl Webb, Membership Secretary on 966 785 332.

January 17th, 2009. Concert at Almoradi Teatro Cortés. (CLICK for story!)

February 24th, 2009. Concert at Teatro Virgen del Carmen. Details to follow.

March 8th, 2009, 8pm. Concert at Escuela de Musica, Los Montesinos. We will be joined by La Agrupacion Musical Montesinos Band. Entry is free; donations on door for La MarQuesa Church. (In aid of church renovation, which has had to be closed for reasons of safety). [PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS DATE HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM MARCH 7th TO MARCH 8th !!!]

March 22nd, 2009. Concert at Rojales Theatre with "Just Brass" for RAFA.

April 26th, 2009. Concert at La Zenia Church. Details to follow.

May 10th, 2009. Concert at Torrevieja Church. Details to follow.
